How does the SPR™ Work?

A drive source spins the shaft and rotor. Specific geometry of the SPR creates a vacuum within the liquid, causing cavitation, resulting in bubbles forming and collapsing. Each cavity is now serving as a mini-reactor, resulting in rapid uniform heating. This effect generates shock waves that transfer shaft energy into the liquid, causing heating at the molecular level. This efficiently converts every one horsepower of shaft energy to 2545 BTU’s.
