New Laboratory

Houston - Total Separation Solutions, LLC, announces a new laboratory dedicated to oilfield fluid remediation. The laboratory is designed to prototype various treatment options for oil field fluids through benchtop reactions that can be scaled up to field applications. Another key function of the laboratory is to build and test new treatment technologies. Oilfield fluids represent a number of difficult challenges since most of the fluids are not homogenous, but often complex mixtures of various cations and anions that are even emulsified into oils. The TSS laboratory has evaporation, cross-flow filtration and nanomedia filtration systems to test various fluids, along with analytical equipment to measure the important parameters. Staff is being added and additional equipment is on order to
further enhance the laboratories capabilities.
